Before his appintment as Southest District Superintendent in 2017, Bruce served 35 years under appointment as a student, a pastor to local congreations in various settings-including a church plant, and a season on the conference staff directing congregational development. Bruce is convinced that the local church is where faithful followers of Jesus are formed, lives are changed, and communities are impacted. His primary responsibilities revolve around supporting the ministry of clergy and lay leaders as they form vital congregations to lead people to an active faith in Jesus Christ. Bruce and his wife Audrey, have two adult children and a granddaughter.
Bev has been a part of the Southeast District’s administrative ministry team since 2002. She has served as the District Secretary and is currently the Administrative Assistant. Her favorite part of administrative ministry is being able to talk and relate with people and to answer and solve problems for the pastors and laity of the Southeast District. Bev is an active member of the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries and received her professional certification in 2006. Lisa has joined the Southeast District ministry team as of January 2016. She will be serving as the District Secretary. She comes to the district having previously served as the administrative assistant and accounts payable manager at Church of the Shepherd in St. Charles, MO. She and her husband David have a married daughter who lives in Chicago and a son who lives in Oklahoma City. Email the District Secretary.
